Volunteer with the Foothill Family Shelter
The Foothill Family Shelter is ready and eager to meet new volunteers! They house unhoused families with children for up to 4 months, with the possibility for extension and 1 year transitional housing depending on the case. They always need help though, and volunteers can help with: sorting donations, stocking shelves in the food pantry, serving walk-in clients and providing resources to walk-in clients. Open Your Home to a Homeless College Student with Jovenes Inc.
Jovenes Inc. works with youth ages 18-25 end their cycle of homelessness. They work with youth focusing on not only their needs for housing, but also healthcare, education, employment and trauma recovery. You can contribute to their amazing work by hosting a college student! Host Homes are when individuals or families volunteer to open their home for up to 6 months to college students (ages 18-24) experiencing housing insecurities.
